AEE Capital Region Contributes Funding for High Efficiency Lighting at Saint Anne's Institute (March 21, 2017)

St. Anne's Institute in Albany is a private, not for profit, service agency committed to providing care and rehabilitation services in the briefest time to children and families throughout New York State. They rely on donations and grants to help offset the cost of running their building.

Association of Energy Engineers New York Capital District Chapter (AEE-CR)donated $2,500 to help offset the cost of replacing 458 W metal halide light fixtures with high efficiency 112 W LED light fixtures in the school gymnasium.

The lighting will save the school approximately $5,000 in electricity savings per year and with AEE-CR's donation, the simple payback will reduce from 3.26 years to 2.75 years.
