The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) Capital Region Chapter received its charter from National AEE in the fall of 2003. For more than two decades, our mission has been to bring together energy professionals to network, explore timely energy topics, and stay informed on the latest developments in the industry. Over the years, the chapter has grown its membership and corporate sponsor base, and we host a variety of events throughout the year, including meetings, panel discussions, and tours. National AEE has recognized the chapter’s work twice: with the Best Chapter Meeting award in 2005, for a program featuring the president of the NYISO on the Northeast blackout of 2004, and with the Best Chapter Conference/Expo award for our 2024 Energy Symposium at HVCC’s North Campus.
