AEE-CR tour at NY-ISO Control Room

On Tuesday, May 5th, the AEE Capital Region Chapter had the rare privilege of touring the NYISO Control Room in Rensselaer, the operational nerve center of New York State’s entire bulk electric grid. Seeing firsthand how a dedicated team of grid operators monitors, manages, and dispatches power across more than 11,000 miles of high-voltage transmission lines, 24/7, 365 days a year, was nothing short of remarkable.

AEE-CR Energy Code training at J.W. Danforth

Our energy code training at J.W Danforth Company was a sellout — and for good reason! Our presenter, Jason Dodge, delivered a fantastic deep dive into how the latest code changes are shaping our industry and the projects ahead. A huge thank you to our sponsor John W. Danforth Company and to Capital District NYSSPE for covering the professional credits.
